Murder Mystery Digital Party Kit - 1990s Cult Theme

This party pack comes with detailed host documents, character cards, and pre-made puzzles to solve and clues to unveil. This party pack is digital, which means no waiting for a package to arrive and no shipping bill to foot. You will just print off the materials on your home printer or at a local print shop.

I recommend this party for adults (16+), as adult themes are mentioned (drugs, child pregnancy, murder, etc.)

A majority of characters were created gender-neutral for flexibility of play. Each character is named by their profession, which helps for remembering what role that character plays in the evening. The host documents include an outline of each character, their relationships, their reason for being suspicious, and their alibi - so you can keep track of them throughout your planning and the event itself.

I've created two versions of the mystery for different group sizes - for 10-15 characters and for 16-21 characters. Each character has vital information and relationships so there are no "main" characters versus "side" characters.

While each attendee will be given a character sheet with their background and other vital information, there is no script - which keeps things interesting and imaginative. There are professional rivals, former partners, and secret family members sprinkled in the crowd to ensure there is no shortage of drama throughout the night.

The evening takes place in two acts. Act I will entail the guests mingling, spreading rumors, and sharing secrets. Typically, this portion is enacted over a dinner or appetizers and drinks. Act II commences when one of the guests drops dead or mysterious circumstances. The attendees will then discover and solve puzzles and clues, discussing their findings among themselves. The night ends with a vote for the murderer, best actor/actress, and best dressed.

The Drive folder includes an introduction sheet as well as folders with different versions to use, depending on which group size you purchased and how many players will be in attendance at your event (10-11, 12-13, 14-15 or 16-17, 18-19, 20-21 depending on which pack you purchase above).
